Professional Piping Recital

Concert Performances by Iain MacDonald (Saskatchewan), Andrew Douglas, and Bobby Minnear—a benefit for the Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational Competition, and a welcoming reception for the competitors.

The Nicol-Brown Contest (Results)

Nine of the finest Amateur pipers from across North America will play in an elite invitational contest with three events: 6/8 Marches, Piobaireachd and MSR.

The judges will be Iain MacDonald from Regina, Saskatchewan, Nancy Tunnicliffe from Lanesboro, Massachusetts, and Bobby Minnear from Atlanta, Georgia.

Master Class

Nicol-Brown competitors will be taking instruction from the judges, and the public is invited to observe the master class. Please reserve a seat in the class by emailing Maureen Connor: meconnor@earthlink.net.

Piobaireachd Seminar

Workshop on Gold and Silver Medal tunes for 2009, appropriate for judges and advanced pipers. Donald Lindsay, Bobby Minnear and Iain MacDonald will be conducting the class. Please reserve a seat in the workshop by emailing Maureen Connor: meconnor@earthlink.net.
